Today, an exciting day of cycling begins in Viareggio, heading towards Lido di Camaiore for breathtaking sea views. You'll face the challenge of the Passo Lucese da Gombitelli, offering breathtaking panoramas, before descending to Lucca, where you can explore its picturesque streets and rich history. Finally, the return to Viareggio will include varied landscapes, from hills to coastal plains.

We'll begin the day cycling along the coast from Viareggio to Pisa, where we'll visit the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa and Piazza dei Miracoli. Then, we'll delve into the Tuscan countryside, heading to the town of San Gimignano, known for its tall medieval towers. We'll have time to explore its streets, taste local wine, and soak up the charming atmosphere. Finally, we'll stay in San Gimignano to rest before continuing our journey.

Today we delve into the heart of Tuscany, crossing the famous Chianti hills. The route takes us along historic roads and through iconic landscapes to reach medieval Siena. The route includes sections of "strade bianche," the characteristic white Tuscan roads.

A circular tour from Siena explores the Crete Senesi region, famous for its distinctive clay hills and cypress trees. The route includes visits to medieval towns such as San Gimignano and Monteriggioni, true gems of Tuscan architecture.

Today's route takes us back to Florence through the heart of Chianti. A journey that combines the challenging Tuscan hills with landscapes of vineyards and olive groves. The arrival in Florence via Fiesole offers an unforgettable panoramic view of the Renaissance city.

The final cycling leg of our trip is a circular route around Florence. We'll explore the Mugello hills, home to legendary cyclists, with moderate climbs and panoramic descents. A perfect route to bid farewell to Tuscany on two wheels.
